Lady Bug Love

Howdy !!

So I have a friend that loves lady bugs.

I kept thinking what can I make her.

So of course I turned to

The bottom layer is the stamp card file

I tore the edges of the print out - Love Bug

I cut around the lady bugs to overlap them on the flowers.

The lady bugs are from (gift card holders)

For Her Craftiness :)

Hey y'all!

Lynn truly challenged me this week. :)

Her theme this month was  "Dog days of Summer".
All I was able to think of was a dog that was hot. lol

Well I made the following.

To be used with pictures from our recent family vacation.

All of the paper I used is from Stampin' Up.
I used to SVG files:
** the flames are actually waves that I made bigger & they are from
** the Thermometer is from Lil' Scraps of Heaven

I used the Cuttlebug Diamond plate embossing folder

Used a misc font for FEELING HOT HOT HOT

This will definitely go great with the pictures of Hunter diving on his first Slip & Slide :)

Thanks for stopping by!!

My Musical Friend

This is my friend Amber.
Since I met her, she has been singing &
playing her guitar, sharing her passion for music with everyone.

I saw this picture on her Facebook page &
immediately told her I wanted to make her a frame.
I found a SVG file with a guitar, but it just didn’t feel right.
It still felt like the frame was missing something.

I started working on other projects. Weeks passed,
still feeling like the frame was incomplete.
Then one night while looking for something, anything that will help fill that void on the frame.
I found this SVG file. A guitar with wings!!
How perfect is that!!

So this is what the finished frame looked like:

Howdy Y’all!
Many of you know, since I have a boy I will jump at that

chance to make something for a girl.
Here is a frame I made for a friend.

This picture is of her daughter & her boyfriend.

Here's a close up of the Cherry Blossom.

I used a clear vellum & dragged a pink
Stamp pad from

Stampin' Up on it.
Then I cut the flower pattern. I then cut a smaller flower

which I glued on top of the pink flower & placed a small

rhinstone on it.

These are her Daughter’s initials

Full shot of the Cherry Blossom

Here is the completed frame.

Thanks for stopping by!

Come on back!

PurpleFuntastick Creations - Guest Deisgner

It’s me again J
Guest Designer for Kari
Her themes were school, end of summer & Football.
Well I picked School & Football.
When the end of summer is here I will definitely party!!
Here are my projects:

Back to school Title
paper from Stampin' Up
back to school file from
white chalk from I-kan-dee

These lil gift bags are for my son’s teacher & the other teachers at his school.
I’m thinking of adding something to it
but I don’t know what to add.
All paper from Stampin’ Up
Stickles glitter
File from Ms. Katie’s back to school bags

Well now on to FOOTBALL!!!
I am a GATOR girl!!
I was lucky to find Gator stickers at a shop in FL.
I used the stickers
in the corner where Albert the Gator is at. Those squares under him are the paint cards from the college paint series from Home Depot

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope everyone stays cool this Summer!

Cocktails & Dreams Hop --- Hosted by Gill M.

You’re heading in the right the direction if you just came from
When I saw that Gill was having a hop themed
after Cocktails & Dreams, well the first thing that popped into my mind was, “If you like Pina Coladas”!
Well, I do have to admit. I miss driving down to the Keys
to the Tiki Bar or all the way to Key West
to have a nice cold beverage at Sloppy Joes.
So that’s where my first idea floated in from.
I used:
Files from
Stamp card in a lite Green edge with a lime green stamp
Brown, Yellow, light Blue, Orange, White cardstock Satmpin' Up
Stickles: Diamond, Orange, Yellow, Magneta, Green
Sunny FL file
Barefoot Bliss
Coconut Drink
are all from Tropical friends file

For my next project, well the idea actually came from my Fiancé.
When I mentioned something about going out to have a few drinks with friends, his reply was “Oh group therapy”.

I used:
Brown Cardstock from Stampin’ Up
a light green & light brown swirled print
Printed both sides with Chopin Script
light green & tan ribbon
Vellum for the glass
Green Stickle
Faded green piece for the drink

So, as the Zac Brown Band says,
I got my toes in the water
tush in the sand
Not a worry in the world
a cold beer in my hand
Life is good today, Life is good today

Hop on over to the talented
